Had a wondeful dinner at Merv's place last night. The ambience of his place for the dinner was just gorgeous... food was superb too... thanks Merv ans Sheryl! I didn't bother to build up any interest in the highlight of the evening though, gambling... just not my thing... I'm just too lazy to arrange the cards and all. But had such a wonderful catching up with Vic, and old friend from school... we were just talking about life to sum it up, about her hubby and her 2-year old son, Joshua, her struggles, her crosses... how eye-opening... and what did I get at the end of the night... that nice tingling feeling in the gut... a high just short of euphoria, a feeling that there's always light at the end of the tunnel, a feeling of hope.
